Final Blog

This should be my last blog for this assignment. I was asked to choose a picture and write why i choose this picture or image what it signifies and what it means to me.
I've had this picture for a while now and i see it all the time because i use it as a back ground when I'm on M. S. N. The picture i choose above is a simple picture that represents both good and evil. It shows how people can have two totally different personalities, one of pure goodness and one of utmost deceit but are not both always shown at the same time. Sometimes people appear to be a kind caring lovable person with a pretty face and bad character but when you really get to know them and what their really capable off much like Lady Macbeth from the famous Shakespearean play Macbeth. That reminds me of an old well known saying" never judge a book by its cover."

Radio Spot Presentation!

It's a pretty good job when you think about it. Basically we help so many people save money don't we, like i tell them to switch to geico and save money on car insurance. I knew this guy, Nick Hogan, he bought a brand new car. This car was fast as lightening, like super man to pin ball. The car roared like a hungry lion in the morning. Roar! Buzz! Vroom! Anyways, he drove his expensive car...Screech! Boom! ...into a tree. I guess he wanted to find out how the Mercedes Bends. GEICO, 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance.

Rhetorical Devices:
*Hyperboles (also could be a simile) - This car was as fast as lightening.
*Personification - The car roared like a hungry lion in the morning.
*Onomatopoeia - Roar! Buzz! Vroom! Screech! Boom!
*Pun - He drove his expensive car into a tree, i guess he wanted to find out how the Mercedes bends.
Persuasive Techniques:
*Bandwagon - We help so many people save money don't we?
*Star Power - Nick Hogan & Pinball
*Mascots - Superman
Slogan:
*geico, 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance
.

Fate or destiny

Not to disrespect any ones religion or anything but when i hear the word fate or destiny the words bible, power, and death comes to my mind. I think the major way we influence what happens in our day to day lives is mainly because of both those simple and really tough choices and decisions we make. When made, they will certainly change the way things turn out later on maybe five minutes from now or five years from now. In the end it always comes back to affect your future life. The scary part is that most of these decisions are made by our own free will even when we don't no better.

As you probably already concluded, believe in fate or destiny people, make their own destiny and as for fate everything happens for a reason. there is a reason for the season a reason if it snow a reason for a river and the places that it flow. You control your destiny and make it what it is. So make the best choice you can and always think before you act, become what you realy want to be.

Why we enjoy people's stupidity and misfortune so much

We enjoy watching people do ridiculous things because, while growing up for some strange reason we developed the habits of laughing at peoples misfortune, a lot has influenced these habits though, when we were kids we would laugh at shows and cartoons where someone would get spanked for something stupid he or she did or probably a character running into a hayfork , door, etc. They were all funny because of the inviting clown like musicals and silly expressions on the characters faces. Probably one of the reasons we laugh at these people is because we have no personal contact or relations with them. For example you see your friends playing roughly one of them hits the other and runs, the next guy now leaps over the sofa to catch him and ends up tripping, falls face first SMAP!! into the dining table then BOO DO OP!to the tile floor rolling and squealing like a two year old kid. Obviously, i mean think about it, it would be hilarious for an audience to have seen that on T.V. Just goes to show how much the human race cares about each other. Most people watch shows or clips like this as a means of relieving stress, when there board or just in a down mood. They watch them for a few laughs and personally i think it's a healthy habit.

I like meeting new people and when I'm not doing any of the above you can always find me in bed sleeping. I created this blog because i was required to do so by my super cool English teacher. not that I'm sucking up or anything. she really is an awesome teacher and so creative when teaching a lesson. She just reminded me to do my blog. As i was saying I'm a pretty straight forward guy i tell it as it is and really don't care what people say .if they don't like something about me they could either say it nicely or deal with it. Don't get me wrong I'm a humble nice guy if u get to no me.I like laugh mostly about anything i have to or else ill become board and depressed. what excites me most is the rush from a bike ride especially throudht the remote holls and mountains right now my favourite bike is the R6.
